2. Summary of operation
The crude oil from production wells are collected at each station manifold and fed to first stage separator the pressure is reduced to (150 PSIg). The big mass of gas is separated at this stage, maximum volume of gas is estimated at (43 MMSCFD).
The oil from first stage is fed to second stage separator and the pressure further reduced to (60 PSIg). The maximum liberated volume of gas is estimated at (7 MMSCFD).
The gas from second stage separator buffered at second stage delivery scrubber through proper downstream pressure controller fed to first stage compressor suction scrubber boosted to about (150 PSIg.) by first stage compressor cooled and delivered to second stage compressor suction scrubber.
The gas from first stage separator buffered at first stage delivery scrubber through proper downstream pressure controller combined with the gas delivered by first stage compressor are fed to second stage compressor suction scrubber the total gas boosted up to (570 PSIg) cooled and fed to an existing (glycol) gas dehydration unit (the gas dehydration unit is not part of supply limit).
The dry gas from all three compressor stations are connected to a common pipe line at (BHS) station and transferred to north gas gathering process plant .

* gas flow figures given above are for maximum sustained production values , the proposed compressor system should be capable to handle 25 % of given flow values without an limitations .
** the same operation philosophy applies for all three stations .
7- vessels
7-1 delivery scrubbers
Two delivery scrubbers , for each station , these scrubbers will be mounted downstream each separator stage . Operating pressure 60 psig and 150 psig. The scrubbers should be equipped with isolating valves, pressure control valve to flare, check valve on the outlet ports , automatic drain system , local press. Indicator, high liquid level alarm and shutdown switches, as well as manual drain and vent points .
7-2 compressor suction and discharge scrubbers
Each stage of compressor to be supplied by suction and discharge scrubber , designed according to stage pressure , temperature and flow requirements. The scrubbers should be equipped with automatic drain high liquid level indication and protection as well as isolating , reliefs hutdown and blow down valves .
Important note :
For vessels , coolers and connecting pipe work design ( 3 mm ) corrosion allowance shall be considered
