SPOILER! Kattints ide a szöveg elolvasásához! The vampire archetype is in dire need for more support, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll write a few words on each card on my thought process. I'll also introduce the new Drain tooltip that means that any damage inflicted to a unit(s) by that ability is turned into a Boost. For example:
Deploy: Drain a Unit by 3. Means that the chosen Unit receives 3 damage and that any damage that is not blocked by armor gets turned into a boost for the user.
Drain a Unit by 3 against a unit with 2 Armor would end in 1 damage for the target and a Boost by 1 for the user.
Drain a Unit by 3 against a unit with 3 Armor would end in no damage and no Boost.
Gold:
Dettlaff van der Eretein
Gold, Vampire
Strength: 8
Whenever you play a Vampire Unit (including Golds), Boost self by 1.
Deploy: Play a bronze Vampire Unit from your Deck, also Boost self by 1 for each Vampire Ally
The boss Gold for the vampires. I tried to make his ability lore friendly and since he commands lesser vampires I made him summon 1 from the deck. I kept it at Bronze Units though, since I thought that maybe being able to search Katakan might be a little to much, but maybe I'll change that later.
Silver:
Alp
Silver, Agile, Vampire
Strength: 5
Every turn, at the end of your turn, Drain by 1 every Unit that was Damaged by a Vampire Unit this turn.
Deploy: Gain 4 Armor.
As you'll see in the Bronze section, all my new vampires have an abilitly that drains power from units one way or the other, so I made this card to become the extra powerhouse that makes these effects somehow stronger, comparable to Nithral and Frost.
Bronze:
Garkain
Bronze, Melee, Vampire
Strength: 5
Deploy: Drain 3 adjacent Enemies by 1.
"The investigators concluded from the blood and guts strewn around the crime scenes that garkains tear their victims to shreds with great delight and muck about in their bloody entrails." Sounds a lot like the Lacerate flavor text, so I wanted this units drain ability.
Bruxa
Bronze, Ranged, Vampire
Strength: 6
Deploy: Drain a Unit by half its Base Strength (rounding up).
Rare, strong and fairly intelligent Bruxae belong to the strongest of the lesser vampires which I tried to mirror in it's ability that is precise and can bring forth a large power swing if used against a strong unit.
Fleder
Bronze, Siege, Vampire
Strength: 4
Deploy: Drain up to 4 random Enemies by 1, then Boost self by the same amount of Damage these Units have taken.
"Compared to other vampires, fleders display meager intelligence, seen most clearly in the mindless rage which causes them to try with all their might to attack and tear to shreds any weaker being."
