És elkezdik lehalászni belőle a leginkább ismerteket, aztán mennek szépen mélyebbre aszerint. Igen, theme park lesz belőle, mert az rezonál azoknál is, akik amúgy nem merülnek bele egy-egy mitológiába, és maximum néhány mozifilmet láttak a témában.
Akik igen, azoknak pedig belepakolnak pár gyöngyszemet (mint a hekatonkheireket az első Therosban) - és ezzel a Vorthos közösség kiválóan elszórakozik, hogy minden egyes apró utalást kibogozzunk 😊
Egyszerűen ez működik, és ez nem lesz akkora zavar és katyvasz, mint Kamigawa, ahol a legismertebb rész az kb. 5 kártya, és a toposzok túlnyomó része senkinek nem mond semmit, mert semmit nem tud a sintóról.
Másik irányból pedig van a bottom-up építkezés, ahol van egy mechanikai identitás, és arra kezdik felépíteni a világot (Zendikar, Tarkir, stb.).
Kaladesh egy "artifact készlet, ahol feltalálónak érzed magad" mechanikai ötletből épül. Hogy egy indiai világ lett körülötte (plusz Chandra és a családja), az később jött, amikor a kreatívok elkezdték beépíteni a történetbe.
Amonkhet pedig egy dupla top-down, egyrészt az "élő Egyiptom", másrészt "Bolas befolyása" volt a kiindulási pont.

Kamigawa is totál homály volt mindig is nekem, hogy minek egy világ, ahol japánnevű, japán emberek vannak😄
Persze értem én, de nekem valahogy sosem illeszkedett a magicbe.
De én pontosan ezért nem szeretem a mitológia ihletésű seteket, mert az egész arról szól, hogy a popkultúrában ismert dolgokat átemeljük, aztán fércelünk valamit köré és kész a "görög mitológia flavor" set.
De visszatérve a magyaros témára, erről jut eszembe, hogy még kisebb koromban gyűjtögettem ilyen Master Crock kártyákat és a legutolsó széria, amiből vannak lapjaim pont ilyen magyaros legendákat,mitológiát,mendemondákat és történelmi alakokat alapul vevő volt.

A japán kultúránál nincs ilyen széleskörű popkulturális ismeret - még az anime/manga dolgok követői se fogják ismerni a Sintó vallás elemeit olyan szinten, ahogy a Kamigawa feldolgozta. Ezért is elég kétséges a normál készletben visszatérés, és valószínűbb, hogy egy új, sokkal inkább a közismert japán toposzokra építő világot fognak építeni.
