Megvan a beta, a menü bejön, talán mégis menni fog a gépemen.

'Enemy Territory: Quake Wars' Public Beta Coming Next Week Posted by Rainier on Saturday, June 16 @ 18:36:19 PDT
Activision revealed that next week it is going to launch a Public Beta with 60,000 slots available. The Public Beta build will consist of a single map named "Sewer", which is part of ETQW's Pacific Campaign. Set in Japan, the map revolves around a Strogg base hidden in, well, a sewer. It's an interesting mix of outdoor and indoor, vehicle and infantry combat, deployables and counter-deployables and good old-fashioned FPS combat.

"Wow, what a morning can bring....
It started out with this thread over at the official site.
Quote: Just seen this on another forum.. http://www.fileplanet.com/178186/170...---Beta-Client Is this for real?
Unfortuneatly, when clicking on the download link, it takes you back to the main page and yes, I'm a subscriber.
Well that thread grew rather quickly and was eventually locked with the following statement from Splash Damage's badman (community relations manager)
Quote: Please read and continue discussion in this thread.
Badman goes on to say in the new thread:
Quote: What I can confirm at this point is that the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta is definitely coming. I do not have a final date at the moment, but the groundwork is obviously being laid for the thing to roll out soon-ish.
We will have much more on the ETQW public beta in the near future, laying out our plans for the beta and how you can participate.
Stay tuned...
- So with all that said, and my leaving tomorrow for a business trip in LA, can only mean the demo should be out next week........ .... while I'm away from home and my main box!"
