Jan Pytlick defended his choice of three keepers for the Olympic Games by pointing to their strengths.
"If we play our cards right, this is a very strong weapon. Perhaps the best keeper team in the world," he told TV 2 Sporten at the press conference in Svendborg.
As for the dumping of Christina Roslyng, one of the gold medal winners from Sydney 2000, he had this to say:
"Christina Roslyng played a great match against Russia on Monday, but looking at the entire period I assess that Henriette Mikkelsen has been the sharper of the two candidates as second choice on left wing."
In his choice of Mikkelsen as back-up for Line Daugaard, he pointed to the Viborg player's ability to cover the right wing as a bonus counting in her favour.
If Pytlick could have nominated 16 Olympic squad members, he would have picked Heidi Johansen as a third pivot.
