találtam egy jó kis FAQot az IMDB fórumán, ebben elég sok gyakran felmerült kérdés megvan válaszolva. Íme:
Q) What is Josh Hartnett's character/why does he show up at the end/why does he kill those girls?
A) Josh Hartnett plays the Salesman, a hitman, hired to kill both the woman in the beginning and presumably Becky at the end. The scenario with the woman in the beginning (a.k.a. the Customer) is to show who he is; we don't know who she is and it doesn't really matter. It can be argued that the reason he is hired to kill Becky is because she told the mob about the death of Jackie Boy, and the other hookers decide to get their revenge.
Q) What scene did Quentin Tarantino direct?
A) A segment of Big Fat Kill: the scene where Dwight and Jackie Boy are in the car. Dwight's imagination runs away with him and he thinks the very dead Jackie Boy is talking to him.
Q) Is this movie sexist?
A) That is debatable. There are a lot of threads on that topic already if you want to argue.
Q) Why isn't Nancy naked in the movie even though she's naked in the comic books?
A) Because there's something in Jessica Alba's contract that says she can't do nude scenes.
Q) Is Nancy's head on the wall at the farm?
A) No. It's just a girl who kind of looks like Nancy. (Variations of this include Shellie and Gail, none of whose heads are on the wall.)
Additional information from ookami-san:
The only known character whose head might actually be on the wall is Tammy (the nurse-prostitute who was present when Liebowitz was trying to beat Hartigan into signing the confession). The rest were just random prostitutes whose names are not known. It is not Nancy, Miho, Gail, Shellie, Margaret Sanger, Princess Leia, Betty Page, Steve Buscemi in drag or anyone else whose name we know. The timeline of events does not allow for it.
Q) Why doesn't Kevin try to kill Hartigan when he comes after Nancy?
A) Because Kevin doesn't really like the Yellow Bastard. However, the farm is owned by the Roark family, who lets Kevin stay there because of his connections with Cardinal Roark, so he has to respect Junior's use of the place. He isn't about to go out of his way to protect him, though, so when he sees Hartigan coming in to kill him, he just keeps reading his bible and lets him pass.
Q) What time period is this movie in?
A) This movie has no specific time period. It has modern aspects as well as clues that would lead you to believe it's in the 1930s or 50s. It's in more of a fantasy world created by Frank Miller than a place that exists or ever did exist.
Q) What does the Yellow Bastard inject Nancy with?
A) Most likely, a sedative.
Additional information from ookami-san:
Yellow Bastard injecting Nancy: The syringe is only seen in the books on the cover of issue 4 of That Yellow Bastard. It was not originally used in the story. It was added into the story for the movie. You will not find any further answer to this in the books.
Q) What was the music in the trailer?
A) "Cells" by the Servant.
Q) Will there be a sequel?
A)I haven't heard anything official other than a quote from Robert Rodriguez saying that one day he'd like to film all of the Sin City novels.
Additional questions and answers, provided by ookami-san:
Q: How can Kevin be sitting on the porch in That Yellow Bastard when Marv killed him earlier in the movie?
A: That part of That Yellow Bastard was later in the movie but much earlier in the chronology of events. Marv's story (The Hard Goodbye) is considered the central event for reference. Hartigan's story (That Yellow Bastard) begins 12 years before and ends 4 years before Marv meets Goldie. Dwight's story (The Big Fat Kill) takes place a few months (3 months at the very least) after Marv meets Goldie.
Q: What was the song in the bar?
A: Absurd by Fluke. It is track 19 on the Sin City soundtrack.
