Lyon striker Karim Benzema has admitted that he may consider leaving the club if they continue to underachieve in Europe.
Benzema, 21, pledged last season to stay with Les Gones until he had helped them to Champions League victory.
Lyon have won the last seven Ligue 1 titles but Benzema - who has scored 10 league goals so far this season - revealed that he has given thought to leaving the club if they continue to come up short in the Champions League.
Bemzema said: "I have reflected a bit on this subject during the winter break.
"I'd like to keep my opinion to myself before speaking about it to my family and my agent.
"But yes, we will have to see what happens after Barcelona.
"We have to stop all this talk about Lyon underachieving and to do that, we need to get past the quarter-finals.
"I love this club. I want to stay. But I would also really like it if we stopped getting knocked out in the last 16."
Benzema has scored six goals in Europe this season to help Lyon into the second round, where they face Barcelona.
O.L. seem to be ready to swoop again on Inter winger Amantino Mancini; the 28 year old, after a good start, is having some problems at the Lombard club, that, on the other hand, don't seem too convinced about letting him go.
West Ham winger Julien Faubert could move back to France; O.L. have contacted his club and the 25 year old seems attracted by this possibility: "I am happy that Olympique are interested in me. My dream is to play again for my national team and play the World Cup and I think that playing in France could help me".
