I am a concerned consumer who holds specific grievances against S3 Graphics. As a customer, I feel that I have not been wholely satisfied by the products, service, and support of S3 Graphics. I sincerely ask that you provide the following things. These are common courtesies that should be practiced by all companies, but I feel you have not provided them:
New, stable Win98 and Win2k drivers for the Savage4 graphics core.
Support for the Savage4 graphics core.
New, stable Win98 and Win2k drivers for the Savage2000 graphics core.
DX8 compliant drivers for the Savage2000 graphics core.
Support for the Savage2000 graphics core.
As the graphics component of SonicBlue, I believe that you hold the responsibility of supporting previous products, despite the joint-venture status of the company with VIA. I also ask that you continue to develop new high-performance, low-cost desktop graphics cores in addition to your mobile and integrated cores.
I also ask that you provide some sort of support email address or online form on your website. As a concerned customer, I do not believe that you will be able to continue as a company if you do not provide common support for your products.
