I feel that the Viper II is a steal. I purchased the card for $119 and am now going to keep it in my personal system. For the price of a "budget" card you can get near high-end performance in Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. I will admit the drivers are still a little buggy, but in my own tests I did not encounter any problems at all. With future driver and bios updates, the performance will increase even more. There are several rumors going around that VIA will soon release drivers for the Viper II with FFSA support! Lets only hope. I am going to give the card 4.5 out of 5 VH points. I ran into absolutely no problems in any of my tests done on the Viper II. The installation was a snap and the drivers installed easily. The performance is great and the price is low. The image quality in Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 is amazing. More games should soon come out based on these engines that benefit the Viper II.
