Ebben a topicban pont erről beszélnek, és had emeljem ki az egyik hozzászólást:
"And what should they say? Even if they were into games, what should they say about a videogame? Come on. It's all part of the merchandising connected to the main brand for them, so a videogame has so much value as a Hicks' doll might have. It is enough to hear the comment that Sigourney Weaver had on the movie "AVP": "It's not a movie, it's a videogame" she said. She was right, but that's not the point: she wanted to express how bad it was and so compared it to a videogame - a joke.
Only someone who is into videogames can judge ACM. Ronald Shusett is not, he doesn't play games and H.R. Giger is to disconnected from reality to even bother. lol.
This ACM fiasco was really much smaller than you might think. It was a huge blow on the videogame scene, because GAMERS were waiting for it and expected something good considering the company behind it, but that's it. Outside, for Fox & Co, it was just a sideline development. If they had a dollar for every ♥♥♥♥ty alien game that didn't sell.... And from what I've heard ACM sold much more than it was worth.
EDIT: one more thing, regarding the supposed meeting with Ridley Scott and his interest in ACM project - assuming they've really met Scott for more than 1 minute and a half and had a chance to mention him they were working on it - Didn't Gearbox said enough lies already? Do you still believe in all the marketing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they were feeding us for years?"
